Navigating the challenges of motherhood while excelling in a demanding career is no small feat, but Zoiba, Moveit’s talented product designer, makes it look seamless.
In this insightful interview, she opens up about her journey back to work after becoming a mom, her passion for creating user-friendly designs, and how Moveit’s flexible work culture has empowered her to thrive professionally and personally.
Q: How did you manage the transition back to work after becoming a mom?
Q: What does your role as a product designer at Moveit involve?
I primarily focus on the user experience for our Moveit customer app, and I’m especially proud of how well it performs today. One of my key responsibilities has been working on the requirements given to me and transforming them into an intuitive and smooth customer flow. The goal was to make the app simple for users, whether they’re booking a vehicle or managing a move. Knowing that customers can easily navigate through the app gives me immense satisfaction.
Another significant project was optimizing our admin portal. I didn’t directly work with the operations team, but I took their requirements and implemented them into the design. The admin panel is now much more streamlined, which has improved how the customer support and operations teams handle daily tasks. This was crucial in making the overall experience for our customers seamless.
Additionally, I worked on the complete redesign of the Moveit website. It’s been a major part of my journey here, and seeing how it reflects the brand’s mission and functionality has been a huge achievement for me.

Q: What kind of projects have you worked on during your time at Moveit?
So many exciting ones! Apart from the website overhaul, I’ve been involved in designing new features for the Moveit app, which lets users book vehicles for relocation and other services. I’ve also contributed to the design of our soon-to-launch Moveit Enterprise platform, which targets B2B clients.
Beyond product design, I also handle visual elements for the app, website, and even social media. I’ve been managing Moveit’s LinkedIn page, writing blogs, and proposing ideas for marketing campaigns. So, my role really spans across various departments!
Q: Why do you think Moveit is the best place for someone in your position?
For me, Moveit is the ideal place to work because it provides the perfect balance between professional growth and personal well-being. As a mother, I need flexibility, and Moveit has given me that in abundance. From allowing me to work from home to offering support during challenging times, the company truly values its employees’ needs.
On the professional side, I’ve had the chance to work on exciting projects, contribute to multiple aspects of the business, and grow my skill set in ways I didn’t imagine. The culture here is supportive and collaborative, making it a place where I can excel both as a professional and as a parent.
